Actually nothing serious. No fever anymore. But doctor said my white blood count very high last Thursday. So want me to stay back to check. Yesterday dropd. Chanting to check out 2day. Take you for ur msg. I will chant for the success of the practice n I can overcome this obstacle.

OK. No problem. Gambate! The roar of the lion!

Doctor ask me to stay until 2morrow. My room is 616 bed2. XXX hospital. I’m fine. Everything normal. Just doing a full body check up.

I discharge d. Then gone to practice this evening. Very healthy.
Everything ok. No problem or sickness.
Okok. I will thanks

Keep your feet on the ground, and reach for the skies!

Oh my people, let us march ahead boldly...

Sleep walking?

He he...help... I am ticklish... please stop it..

Fuh... ada gaya.

Beckham's fans are everywhere!

It's amazing that one can do so much during a practice session... other than practising, I mean... here is a list of things...

1. Share jokes.
"Q: Want to hear two short jokes and a long joke?
A: Joke. Joke. Joooooooooooooooooooookkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkke."

2. Pose for a group photo

3. Meet old classmates
"Err... you mean, we were in the same kindergarten? Sorry... cannot remember leh."

4. Find long lost relatives
"At last, I found you, my cousin!"

5. Re-schedule your appointments
"OK, we change our high-tea gathering to the following Saturday afternoon. Set!"

6. Have a showdown
"Eh, don't bully my brother ok? Pick someone your own size!"

7. Campaign for your favourite party
"Eh? Not yet elections la..."

8. Share your adventures
"... And then you know, this thug came out from nowhere... and I tried to block him with my two hands..."

9. Share your love stories
"You know, I waited eight years for him -- eight long years of my life..."

If you have nothing else to do, just be good listeners....

You'll be amazed and shocked by what you see and hear!

Our Super Group

Due to the scale and the high-profile nature of the Merdeka-50 performance, the performance committee has planned for a team of 100 reserve performers. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

A majority of the reserve performers will most likely not get a chance to perform on the actual day unless some performers have to pull out at the eleventh hour due to unforeseen circumstances or they fall terribly ill just before the show start. So, technically speaking, for them to get a chance to perform, they have to pray for people to drop out... OK, ok, just kidding... And I am sure none of our reserve performers have such thoughts.

But seriously, being in the reserve team requires a great deal of patience and a fantastic team spirit. At every practice, one may be assigned to different groups to fill in the positions of the absentees. It is definitely not easy as one has to learn the steps of the various positions in different groups.

Yet, without complaining (maybe a bit lah..), they gladly take up the challenge to support the other 1400 performers to the best of their abilities. That is why they are called the SUPER group! With their presence and support, we will definitely have a SUPER show. Three cheers to the Super Group!

No rest even if you are a reserve!

Don't worry friends, Sensei is watching us...

VICTORY for the Supergroup!

Feeling human

“During the two hours of game time, I live in another world. I forget about the car bombs and feel human again, and what is more beautiful is that the team includes all sects. They are all Iraqis to us and they make me feel we are united again.”

These were the words of Nawfal Hameed, an ordinary Iraqi, which was carried in a report published in the New Straits Times on July 23. He was talking about the Iraqi national team’s progress in the Asian Cup.

Feel human again. Ordinary Iraqis like Nawfal must live in fear each moment, not knowing when the next car bomb will tear their bodies, or that of their loved ones, into pieces.

In Malaysia, we often take issues of peace and security for granted, while there are many in other parts of the world who do not know if they’ll live to see the next dawn.

“Nothing is more precious than peace,” SGI President Ikeda writes in his epic work (still unfinished), The New Human Revolution. It is only with peace that we can develop our highest potential, when we can be truly human.

I believe that the Merdeka 50 performance can show the nation how important true peace is. All of you performers and support groups are noble angels of peace who can illuminate the path of peace for society. I believe that as we challenge the difficulties that lie ahead, we will all grow in character. We will all grow in stature. Good fortune will adorn our lives.

S & G

They are the men in yellow and blue... and their job is to ensure smooth traffic flow inside our culture centres during practice sessions. They are trained to be multi-taskers - helping out with a variety of tasks behind the scenes including security, jaga bus, jaga orang, jaga Q, distribute drinks, carry tables and chairs, etc... Thank you very much, Sokahan and Gajokai!

Good morning, welcome to SGM Drive-in. Can I have your order please? Kopi-O "kau", Roti kaya with planta, two half-boiled eggs ...

Not enough stock la!

We need to bring this bag of sweet potato to canteen. They are cooking "bo bo cha cha".

Can park one more motorcycle in between these two buses.

Halt! That way please!

"Weng Thiam calling all Sokahan. Has anybody seen my car? Where did I park ha? Over."

"Eh boss... you didn't drive to BK today lah... yo.."
