Project Merdeka-50 Pictorial?

Nine years ago, SGM published a pictorial on the Human Graphics performance in the 1998 Commonwealth Games Opening. Looking at the photos inside still bring back fond memories of our participation in that historic event.

The response to the many photographs published on this blog has inspired us to go further... We thought, what if we publish a pictorial to commemorate SGM's participation in this Merdeka 50 project?

Tell us what you think....

What would you like to see inside this book?

Share your ideas with us!

I'd like to see pictures of people's faces - the faces of achievements, the faces of never being defeated despite the heat, the faces of laughter and friendship, the faces of joy and of course the faces of our PICs - the people who stand tall despite all the challenges.

maybe just publish together with cosmic lo, no need to publish a special book.
can have some additional special pages for the pic in cosmic,,
or publish a small booklet, FOC together with Cosmic,
then it won;t burden or members..

We are who we are for you..

On the 11th September 1998, we created a PRESTIGIOUS opening ceremony for the 16th Commonwealth Games in Malaysia. Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) has once again written a GREAT history in every Malaysian’s heart after a great success and victory in Sea Games 1989. I remember the Pictorial title was ‘Human Graphics’ with the theme of CREATING EXECELENCE THROUGH UNITY’. Our former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohammed said ‘we have shown the world that we are able to organize the best ever Commonwealth Games.

To me, the Pictorial is now a HISTORY to us. I should say it is an ‘Unforgettable Precious Moment’. It contents of all efforts, commitment, sweet and sparkling moments of SUKOM 98.

Now, I wish we can have our 2nd Pictorial for Project 50 – Merdeka Performance. We should ask ourselves ‘How many 50 years will we have?’
I wish to share with my future generation that how great your mom / grandmother was during my youth time. This is the proof of my youth time.

This Project Merdeka -50 Pictorial is not only to all performers. All our working committees from various departments should be included. This performance will not be successful without them. They are No U No Us Officer (NUNUO). They are the one who’s working behind the scene. We must not forget all our beloved members & leaders who are chanting for the success of us. They sacrifice their own time during weekend as to organize a chanting meet while we are busy practicing. This Pictorial will tell them the stories of us during practice.

It will be much more memorable to have a VCD / DVD of the whole event and the progress since we did video recording each time.

Meanwhile, this Project Merdeka - 50 Pictorial will be a very good material during our Shakubuku. To share with our family / friends about the Soka Gakkai activities.

I wish thanks the Host of this blog. You have given a space for youth to share / shout out their thoughts, impression, experience and etc.

We await to create the Glory once more!

Thank you

Pink

if talked about the Sukom pictorial, we should ask how many people is actually still keeping the pictorial till today and will read it once a while? or even using it for shakubuku?
I personal feel that if we could organize a pictorial exhibition about SGM activities(for Sukom, National days, seed of change etc...)will be more meaningful and able to do a more effective shakubuku.
